Travel to GENEVA, city located by the Lake Leman which hosts the European headquarters of the United Nations. You can stroll through the old city or know any of its museums. An 11 trip visiting Paris, Semur, Beaune, Lyon, Geneva, Castle Chillon, Gruyere, Gstaad, Grindelwald, Meiringen, Chiasso, Lugano, Burglen, Altdorf, Lucerne, Einsiedeln, Vaduz, Feldkirch, St. Gallen, Constance, Steinam, Rhein, Rhine Waterfalls, Zurich.
DAY 01 SAT. Paris – Arrival.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Evening transfer to the Montmartre district. Funicular ride
Welcome to Paris! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travellers. In the evening, we provide a transfer to the Montmartre district. This neighbourhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cabarets. Choose from one of the many restaurants and sit down to a relaxing dinner. We ascend to the top of the hill by funicular to admire the spectacular views of Paris. After this we will return to hotel.
DAY 02 SUN. Paris.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour in Paris. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Boat ride along the Seine. Evening transfer.
Today we take a guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris. We end the visit at the Eiffel Tower. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket admission included). End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy an afternoon of leisure to explore and relax! At sunset enjoy dinner in the Latin Quarter, a very picturesque historic area where a wide variety of international cuisines await you. We will then return to hotel. Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different time of the day (or Monday).
DAY 03 MON. Paris.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Time at leisure.
We will start the day by going to the centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum. Enjoy some leisure time to explore. If you wish, we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris. Note: For those who are interested, an optional excursion to Disneyland Paris is available.
DAY 04 TUE. Paris – Semur – Beaune – Lyon.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Vineyards in Beaune and Bourgogne region. Funicular climb in Lyon.
Today we travel to the centre of France, to the Bourgogne region, famous for its wines. Making a stop in SEMUR EN AUXOIS, a small medieval town listed surrounded by impressive walls. After this we will visit BEAUNE, located in the centre of the Bourgogne region, with its streets full of flowers, hospice and wine museum all points of interest. Time for lunch. Continuing on, we will arrive to LYON in the mid-afternoon, the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rhône (its historic centre has been declared a World Heritage site). We include a funicular climb to Notre Dame de Fourviere where we have a great view of the city. Enjoy some leisure time to walk around. Note: Sometimes, for events or congresses, accommodation may be provided in a city near Lyon (normally Chambery).
DAY 05 WED. Lyon – Geneva – Castle Chillon – Gruyere- Gstaad.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Geneva, Vineyards Landscapes, entrance to Chillon Castle, Visit to Cailler chocolate factory.
We have a beautiful stage. We travel to Switzerland. GENEVA, arrival. City located by the Lake Leman which hosts the European headquarters of the United Nations. You can stroll through the old city or know any of its museums. Then we will go on to CHILLON CASTLE, built in the waters of the lake. Entrance included to this fantastic mediaeval castle. We continue to the picturesque walled town of GRUYERE, known worldwide for its cheese. Very nearby are some of the main Swiss chocolate factories (NESTLE amongst them), we visit the Cailler chocolate factory, with a chance to try some too! Continuing along small roads amidst beautiful mountains and picturesque wooden villages. Arrival in the pretty GSTAAD with its wooden houses.
DAY 06 THU. Gstaad – Grindelwald – Meiringen – Chiasso.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Mountain scenery, Cable car in Grindelwald and walk along a path in the Alps. Lunch included. Entrance to Aareschlucht Gorge.
Today´s journey has fascinating mountain scenery. We passed Interlaken and we outline its beautiful lake. Arrival to GRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car (ticket included) up to Grindelwald First. We will walk along the path (30 minutes) in which we shall be able to take the ¨footbridge over the empty¨ among the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers around us. Lunch included (vegetarian option available). After that we continue to MERINGEN and the spectacular AARESSCHLUCHT Gorge (entrance included). Then we enter the region of Switzerland where the official language is Italian. Accommodation in CHIASSO, a Swiss city on the Italian border.
DAY 07 FRI. Chiasso – Lugano – Burglen – Altdorf – Lucerne.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Beautiful landscapes with mountains and lakes. Knowing Lugano and Lucerne. Visit the village that was made famous through William Tell.
We will know LUGANO the cosmopolitan capital of the Italian Switzerland with its beautiful lake. Time to stroll. We continue on the highway, we crossed St. Gotthard Pass. We stop in BURGLEN, the tiny village where William Tell was born, we shall see the chapel of the XVI century with paintings illustrating his life. If you want, you can also visit the museum of William Tell. In the neighbouring city of ALTDORF we can also find traces of his history. Continue to LUCERNE, free time to explore this beautiful city by the lake that bears its name.
DAY 08 SAT. Lucerne – Einsiedeln – Vaduz – Feld- kirch.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Baroque Abbey. Heidi’s Village. Journey through beautiful landscapes.
We leave Lucerne driving along the Four Cantons Lake towards EINSIEDELN, its immense baroque abbey is the most important pilgrimage centre in Switzerland. After that we continue towards the East of Switzerland. MAIENFELD is the village which inspired Heidi’s story. A walk in its historic centre after which we will be visiting Heidi’s House (Ticket not included. Entry to the facility is free), a picturesque place with beautiful landscapes that we will reach through a pedestrian path. Then we enter into the independent country of Liechtenstein, and its capital city VADUZ with its impressive castle. Time to stroll and have lunch. Subsequently, we go to the neighbour city of FELDKIRCH, in Austria, located next to the borders of Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Germany: charming walled city with a genuine historic city centre and a castle. Free time.
DAY 09 SUN. Feldkirch – St. Gallen – Constance – Stein am Rhein – Rhine Waterfalls – Zurich.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Constanza Lake. Botanic Gardens. Rhein Waterfalls. Fantastic scenery.
We start our day heading to ST. GALLEN, whose centre is part of the World Heritage List by UNESCO with a wonderful cathedral and its historic centre. Afterwards we will continue by Constance Lake, between Germany and Switzerland. We will have time for a walk at Constance’s centre before visiting MAINAU Island (access by pedestrian bridge) with its stunning botanic garden (entry included). Then, again in Switzerland, we will take a stroll in STEIN AM RHEIN, a typical village on the Rhine River with precious houses with painted walls. We will also visit Rhine Waterfalls (entry included), the waterfalls with the most abundant flow in Europe. Arrival in ZURICH at the end of the day.
DAY 10 MON. Zurich- Rapperswill- Zurich.-
TODAY’S HIGHTLIGHT: Zurich. Cruise on the Lake Zurich. Train.
With our guide, we will make a tour of ZURICH, the most populated city of Switzerland, and the country’s financial and cultural capital. The city of the banks has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. After this, we will include a cruise of almost two hours on Lake Zürich. The boat makes brief stops to allow us to see the villages on the way. We get off in RAPPERSWILL, a picturesque little village overlooked by its mediaeval castle. We go back to Zurich by train and appreciate the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railways. Note: Depending on the number of travellers, on this stage, the transfers to the centre and from the station may be made on public transport.
DAY 11 TUE. Zurich.-
After breakfast, end of our services.

- Depending on the number of travellers, n this stage, the transfers to the centre and from the station may be made on public transport.
- It is a general policy in the hotels that may request a deposit of money on arrival at each of the hotels where you will be staying. This deposit is charged at the time of check in and is refunded upon departure if you did not make any expenses at the hotel.
- The space in the holds of the coaches and in the train wagons is limited and this determines the maximum amount of luggage authorized per passenger on our circuits: one suitcase per person and one handbag. Carrying more luggage than allowed can be checked in at destination.
