DAY 01 SAT. Paris – Arrival.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Evening transfer to the Montmartre neighbourhood. Funicular ride
Welcome to Paris! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travellers. In the evening, we provide a transfer to the Montmartre district. This neighbourhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cabarets. Choose from one of the many restaurants and sit down to a relaxing dinner. We ascend to the top of the hill by funicular to admire the spectacular views of Paris. After this we will return to the hotel.

DAY 02 SUN. Paris.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour in Paris. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Boat ride along the Seine. Evening transfer.
Today we take a guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Par- is. We end the visit at the Eiffel Tower. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket admission included). End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy an afternoon of leisure to explore and relax! At sunset enjoy dinner in the Latin Quarter, a very picturesque historic area where a wide variety of international cuisines await you. We will then return to the hotel. Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different time of the day (or on Monday).

DAY 03 MON. Paris- Amboise.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Amboise.
We will start the day by going to the centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum. Enjoy some leisure time to explore. If you wish you have the option of visiting the Louvre Museum or we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris. At 16.30 hrs. we leave Paris for the Loire Valley. AMBOISE, arriving in the late afternoon, this city on the Loire River is well-known because Leonardo Da Vinci lived and died here, and it also has a large castle and a beautiful historic centre with narrow streets. 

DAY 04 TUE. Amboise- Bordeaux- Lourdes.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Lourdes. Dinner included.
We continue on our way to the south of France. We cross lands of vineyards. BORDEAUX, time for lunch and a stroll through this city whose centre was declared a World Heritage Site. We suggest you know the Port of the Moon and the Cathedral of St Andrew. We continue towards the Pyrenees. LOURDES, arrival in the late afternoon. You can attend the candle procession (until the end of October) and visit the places of worship. We include dinner at the hotel for all our travellers!

DAY 05 WED. Lourdes- Saint Bertrand- Carcas- sonne- Andorra.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Medieval villages of S. Bertrand orCarcassonne.
Travelling parallel to the Pyrenees, we stop in SAINT BERTRAND, a medieval village hanging on the mountainside, dominated by its great cathedral. Time for a stroll before going on to CARCASSONNE, a city surrounded by beautiful walls. We continue through the Pyrenees on a journey between often snow-capped summits, and into the small country of ANDORRA. Dinner included.

DAY 06 THU. Andorra- Montserrat- Barcelona.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Catalonia region. Montserrat Monastery. Rack train climb.
Free time in ANDORRA for shopping and exploring. After lunch, we continue to Catalonia. The mountain countryside leads us to the impressive site of the MONTSERRAT MONASTERY, where you will go up the mountain on a rack train to see its fantastic scenery. Following this we will continue to BARCELONA, arriving in the late- afternoon.

DAY 07 FRI. Barcelona.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Barcelona city tour. “Spanish Village” visit and evening transfers to Las Ramblas district.
Today we will explore Barcelona, an impressive city right on the Mediterranean Sea. Starting with an informative city tour with a local expert (note: If the group has fewer than fifteen people, explanations can be given by our guide.) We also visit the city’s historic central area with its Gothic neighbourhood dating back to the Middle Ages. We will visit the area where the Olympic Games took place. We will get the chance to see La Sagrada Familia Basilica; the masterpiece designed by the architect Gaudí. Following this, we include the entry ticket to visit ‘Poble Espanyol’ (meaning ‘Spanish Village’). This open-air architectural museum is situated in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona. Enjoy Spanish craftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions and folklore of the different communities in Spain. Take some free time to explore the city on your own. In the evening we provide transfers to Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya area for dinner, where you can select from a great variety of restau- rants. Return to the hotel. 

DAY 08 SAT. Barcelona – Peniscola – Valencia.-
TODAYS HIGHLIGHTS: Visit Peniscola, a beautiful walled town combined with a castle on the sea. Sightseeing of Valencia. Evening transfer.
We journey south along the Mediterranean. We will make a special stop at PENISCOLA, a small walled town on the shores of the sea. After a short introduction by our guide, you can make your way through the town, discovering the fishing port, the castle and the beach. Afterwards we travel to VALENCIA, and time to enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, with a local guide, we will include a visit to the third largest Spanish city that mixes the modern with the historical. We will learn about its historic centre, the fish market, the cathedral and the avantgarde City of Arts and Sciences. In the evening we transfer you to the Plaza de Toros (bullring area). In this area you will have time to take dinner. Return to the hotel.

DAY 09 SUN. Valencia – Alicante – Caravaca de la Cruz – Granada.-
TODAYS HIGHLIGHTS: Tourist train in Caravaca.
Today we continue to ALICANTE. We will take a walk in this charming city by the sea. After lunch make our way to the Murcia region, where we will see CARAVACA DE LA CRUZ, a town considered by the Catholic Church as one of the five holy cities. Its church holds a relic of Christ’s Cross. We will also take a train ride up to explore its historic area. After this we will carry on along scenic roads to Andalusia. We finish the day in GRANADA.

DAY 10 MON. Granada.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit to the Alhambra (if you bought the trip with the entrance included). Evening tranfer.
We will have a full day in GRANADA. With a local guide, if you bought the trip with the entrance included, we take a tour of Alhambra Palace and its beautiful Generalife Gardens, built in Arab times. Time to take lunch. The afternoon will be at leisure to see the Cathedral with the Sepulcher of the Catholic Kings. In the evening, transfer to the Albaicín of Granada, a World Heritage site along with Alhambra; here you can enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants in the narrow winding streets of this captivating Medieval Moorish quarter. Tonight you have the option to attend a flamenco dance show and the traditional neighbourhood of Sacromonte. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: The number of people authorised to visit the Alhambra is limited by law. The number of places assigned to tour operators is small and we are only given the quo- ta one month before arrival. Even if you buy the trip with the ticket included, we cannot guarantee a visit to the Alhambra (if these tickets cannot be offered, the Reales Alcázares in Seville, which is similar, would be visited and a sightseeing tour with a local guide of the city of Granada would also be offered). DAY 11 TUE. Granada – Malaga – Marbella – Ronda – Seville.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Costa del Sol and the Andalusian village of Ronda.
Departing from Granada and travelling towards the Costa del Sol, we will arrive in MALAGA and explore the histor- ic centre, with its cathedral and the Picasso Museum. Af- ter this we will continue along the coastal motorway with beautiful views of the Mediterranean. Stopping in PUERTO BANUS, Marbella, a pretty resort known as a playground for Europe’s rich and famous. In the afternoon we will continue through the hills until we reach RONDA, a very beautiful white town with its large gorge that divides it in two. Continuing to SEVILLE, arriving in the late afternoon.

DAY 12 WED. Seville.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Guided visit with local expert in Seville. Boat trip along the river Guadalquivir. Evening tranfer to the historic city centre.
After breakfast, a local expert guides you through a scenic visit of Seville featuring the Cathedral and its famous Giralda (bell tower), the banks of the Guadalquivir River, popular neighborhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana and the beautiful Plaza de España. (note: If the group is fewer than fifteen travellers, it can be arranged in both Spanish and English). After the tour, we will include a boat trip along the river Guadalquivir, enjoying the panoramic views from the boat. Enjoy leisure time straight afterwards. At the end of the afternoon, we will go to the historic city centre area (Calle Alfonso XII). Here there are many different types of restaurants for you to choose from, enjoy your dinner.

DAY 13 THU. Seville – Jerez de los Caballeros- Mon- saraz – Evora – Lisbon.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: a scenic stage with walled border villages. Evora Chapel of Bones.
We leave Seville on a stage of scenic beauty; amidst hills and olive trees we enter Extremadura. JEREZ DE LOS CABALLEROS, a stop in this town that belonged to the Knights Templar and where Vasco Nuñez de Balboa was born. We enter Portugal. MONSARAZ, one of the most picturesque villages in Portugal, with its walls, castle, white streets full of flowers and great views. We continue to the city EVORA, declared a World Heritage Site, with its white streets, its Renaissance palaces and its cathedral. Time for lunch. We will visit the impressive Chapel of Bones (admission included), built with 5000 skeletons! LISBON, arrival at the end of the day.

DAY 14 FRI. Lisbon.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit Lisbon. Evening transfer.
In the morning we have a sightseeing tour with a local guide (note: explanations may be given by our guide if the group has fewer than twelve people) . We visit traditional neighbourhoods, which take in the Belem district, the birthplace of the great Portuguese navigators who sailed the oceans in the Fifteenth Century. We will look around the Monument to the Discoveries, Belem Tower, and the beautiful Jeronimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure to explore the city inde- pendently. In the late afternoon, we transfer to the Res- tauradores Square, a public square with restaurants and caFez. We suggest you ride the Elevador Da Gloria funicular that takes you to the viewpoint of San Pedro with beautiful views over Lisbon and the Bairro Alto. Return to the hotel. 

DAY 15 SAT. Lisbon – Fatima – Madrid.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Fatima Shrine. Lunch included. Evening tranfer in Madrid.
Today we travel to the north of Portugal and visit FATIMA, an important sanctuary (a pilgrimage site). We will continue on our way through the green lands of the centre, passing into Spain, and over grasslands we cross the North of Extremadura. Lunch included en route in a regional food restaurant . Continuing to MADRID, arriving at the end of the day. Then we include transpor- tation to Plaza Mayor where you can enjoy at some typical taverns.

DAY 16 SUN. Madrid.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Madrid city tour. Stroll through the Retiro Park. Visit to the Plaza de Toros de las Ventas bullring. Evening tranfer.
The morning starts with a comprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. We then visit to Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. A visit to Las Ventas Bullring (admission included) is next, this is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where we will learn about the tradition of “corridas” in the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. At sunset we provide a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving different cuisines such as local Spanish food, international, and Chinese. Enjoy a pleasant dinner of your choice, then return to the hotel together.

DAY 17 MON. Madrid.-
After breakfast, end of our services.

• It is a general policy in the hotels that may request a deposit of money on arrival at each of the hotels where you will be staying. This deposit is charged at the time of check in and is refunded upon departure if you did not make any expenses at the hotel.
